At least 129 people were killed and more than 400 people
were injured in the six blasts that took place together in three churches and three
hotels in Lanka. Officials gave this information. This is one of the most
horrific attacks in Sri Lanka's history.
Police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekhara said that the blast took
place at St. Anthony of Colombo, St Sebastian Church of Negembo, West Coast,
and a church in Batticalova during the Easter prayer meeting at 8:45 pm local
time. The other three explosions took place in five star hotels - Shangriela,
The Cinamon Grand and The Kingsbury. In the blast in the hotel, the injured
foreigners and locals have been admitted to the Colombo General Hospital.
