• Apart from Praful Patel, the officials of eight other countries are also in the race
• The tenure of the elected officials will be from 2019 to 2023
new Delhi. Praful Patel, president of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) can join the FIFA Council. The FIFA Executive Council will be held in Kuala Lumpur on April 6 (Saturday). Prafulla gets place here so he will be the first Indian to join. The Executive Council is FIFA's largest committee. The tenure of the elected officials in the council will be from 2019 to 2023.

Five members to meet in FIFA Council

1. In the race to get a place in the council, besides Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Vice-President Praful Patel, there are also office bearers of China, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Five of these members have a place in the FIFA Council.

2. AIFF vice-president Subroto Dutta said, "Patel will get support from many more members including the AFC president." Praful Patel, who was made the third time president of the AIFF, has a tenure of 2020. Under-17 World is the achievement of their tenure in 2017.
