BJP leader close to Smriti Irani shot dead in Amethi
After the end of the elections in Uttar Pradesh, a period of killings has begun. In Amethi, a former head of BJP was shot and killed. The deceased is being told to be close to Smriti Irani. Apart from deploying a large number of police forces at the spot, they have started raids in search of the attackers.
According to the information received, the unidentified miscreants of former Prime Minister Surendra Singh of Baroliya village of Jamori police station area of Gauriganj in Amethi killed and shot dead. The unidentified assailants carried out the incident on Saturday night when Surendra Singh was sleeping outside the house. Shortly after the incident, the family took Surinder to the Lucknow Trauma Center, but on the way, he succumbed to his injuries.
Surendra Singh was very special in memory
Tell that the deceased Surendra Singh was special to Smriti Irani, the BJP leader who defeated Congress President Rahul Gandhi from Amethi. He had been the head of his village and also had an influence in the area. He was actively engaged in the propaganda of BJP and the memory and in a conversation with a news agency one day before the incident, he also commented on the inaction of Rahul Gandhi in the area. He had said, 'Why would anyone vote for someone who does not even come in his area? Rahul came to Baralaia village three years ago and he did not come here even during the elections.
Police in search of assailants
On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and a large number of police force has been deployed in view of the tension situation. Police have started taking clues to the attackers. Earlier in Ghazipur, after the election results, a district Panchayat member belonging to the Samajwadi Party was shot dead.
