On the other hand, the average age of players in Chennai Super Kings is 34 years. Dhoni himself is 37, while Ambati Rayudu has 33, Suresh Raina 32, Shane Watson and Harbhajan Singh are 38.
If the team of Delhi has already played a match here (Eliminator), then they will get the benefit of knowing the conditions better. Delhi Capitals fast bowler Trent Boult and Ishant Sharma performed well in the absence of Kagiso Rabada and Chemo Paul got three wickets while playing them well. Veteran spinner Amit Mishra was again economical and he also got one wicket. The team's batsmen will also be relieved that they will not have to face the spin of Imran Tahir and Harbhajan Singh on the pitch turning into Chennai but still dealing with them will be challenging for them.
