Maxwell made the team India bat, Australia created history after 11 years Bengaluru: Glenn Maxwell (not out 113), thanks to the stormy turn of the Australians, the second T20 match also got their name. Australia defeated India by 7 wickets in the match played at Bangalore's M Chinnaswamy Stadium. India offered a challenge of 191 runs to win. In reply, Australia achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 19.4 overs. With this victory, Australia took 2-0 on the two-match T20 series. In the first match played in Visakhapatnam, the visiting team defeated India by three wickets. Australia has made history after 11 years. The Australian team has won any T20 series against India after 11 years. The Australian team won the last Twenty20 series against India in 2007/08. It was a T20 match series and at that time the Indian team was in Australia tour.

Australia pursued a disappointing start to the target. The hosts lost their two wickets on a total of 22 runs. Marcus Stuyens (7) and Aaron Finch (8) returned to the pavilion soon. After this Maxwell took charge and won the team. Maxwell made two important partnerships. He added 73 for the second wicket with Darcy Short and the third wicket with Peter Handscab to win the 99-run winning partnership. Maxwell played a wonderful innings in 55 balls with 7 fours and 9 sixes. He completed his third century of T20 International Cricket career in just 50 balls. At the same time, Handscab scored an unbeaten 20 off 18 balls with one stoppage. Vijay Shankar and Siddharth Kaul got one wicket shock from India.

Earlier, India scored a huge 190-run stand for the fourth wicket with captain Virat Kohli (72 not out) on a brilliant innings. The Indian team started to bat first before losing the toss and got a good start. Openers Lokesh Rahul (47) and Shikhar Dhawan (14) shared a 61-run partnership for the first wicket with a strong start. However, the Indian team reached 100 runs-reaching the ball. The hosts had lost their three wickets for 74 runs. Rahul, Dhawan and Rishabh Pant (1) were included in these wickets.

Kolhi and Dhoni took the charge

After this, captain Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (40) took charge. Both of them shared a 100-run partnership for the fourth wicket, bringing the team to huge scores. Kohli completed his 20th half century of T20 International Cricket career in 29 balls. Kohli hit two fours and six sixes in 38 balls and Dhoni smashed three fours and as many sixes on 23 balls. India's fourth blow was dropped on Dhoni's total score of 174. He was touched by Pet Cummins at Aaron Finch's hands. At the same time, Dinesh Karthik scored an unbeaten 8 off three balls with the help of two fours. India scored 117 runs in the last 10 overs. For Australia, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Pat Cummins, Jason Behardand and Darcy Short took one wicket each.

Pant lost cheaply


India's third wicket dropped as wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant on total score of 74. After Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed, wicketkeeper Pant, who came to the crease, lost his wicket cheaply. He made only 1 run in 6 balls and returned to the pavilion. He was dismissed by Darcy Short on the fifth ball of the 11th over. He hit the right-hander Richardson for a big shot at Darcy's ball. Pant had also failed to bat in the first T20 and was dismissed with 3 runs.



Did not run Dhawan's bat


India felt the second blow to opener Shikhar Dhawan. Dhawan's bat not included in the last eleven instead of Rohit Sharma. He just lost 14 wickets and scored 14 runs. Dhawan has batted extremely slow. He hit 1 in his innings of 24 balls. Jason Behrenndorf made his prey on the second ball of the 10th over. Their wicket dropped to a total score of 70

Good start of India

Rahul was heading towards the sixth half-century of his T20 International cricket career but missed it. Nathan Coulter became the victim of Nile by making 47 runs.

Rahul made three fours and four sixes in an innings of 26 balls. Rahul showed Nile the pavilion on the first ball of the 8th over. He wanted to hit a big shot on Nile's ball but caught on the third man, Zaheer Richardson. Rahul had batted in the first T20 and batted first. He scored 50 runs in 36 balls
